Treat Your Email Marketing Leads w/Respect

Just the other day I received an email from a list I am on and in it the email marketer was chastising users for not buying this or for not buying that. Actually, I should say he/she was more whining that chastising.

This marketing claims that because nobody has purchased anything via his/her affiliate links that he/she sends out in his/her email marketing campaigns that he/she is now going to have to close the list unless, get this, '95% of you order XXXX product by Friday'.

Needless to say, I have unsubscribed from this list and now this email marketer has one less member on his/her list.

Treat your email list with respect, they aren't the reason that purchases aren't being made via the links you provide in your email marketing campaigns. Your sales pitch and how you developed a relationship with the list members...that's how it works.

Email Marketing Equals Large Profits

When done correctly, email marketing can blow your businesses profits right out of the water.

The key to large profits in email marketing is to build a solid relationship with your list members. Give them something of yourself, something of your knowledge and be yourself. Don't be fake. By providing your list members with quality information you'll be able to better gain their trust.

Trusting list members will make your email marketing campaigns profitable.

If you waste their time and constantly hammer them with offer after offer, you're email marketing will pretty much be just a waste of time. Nobody wants to open their inbox to find yet another email promotion. Give to them, offer something and then give to them some more.
